This policy explains how the Global Institute of Artificial Intelligence (“GIAI”, “we”), the educational lab of WasilaDev, handles your information when you use giaiedu.com, create an account, or take a course.

What we collect

When you create an account or submit a form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, and (optionally) country. As you take a course, we record your progress, quiz results, and any certificate of completion issued to you. We also collect basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used (such as pages viewed), and standard technical data your browser sends.

Why we use it

We use your information to: run your account and save your progress across devices; deliver courses and issue certificates; respond to enquiries and proposal requests; understand and improve the site; and — only if you tick the optional consent box — send you occasional updates about new courses. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Legal basis

We process account and course data because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for. We send marketing only on the basis of your explicit, opt-in consent. Where local data-protection law (including Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law and, for visitors in the EU, the GDPR) grants you rights, we honour them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers strictly to operate the site: Google Firebase (authentication, database, and hosting), our form-to-email provider for notifications, and an analytics provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep account and course records for as long as your account is active, and enquiry records for as long as needed to follow up. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at privacy@giaiedu.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in, and analytics to measure usage. We do not use advertising-tracking cookies.
